CMF Watch Pro 2 Review: heylink.me/sumairrandhawa531 Feature-Packed Smartwatch That Won’t Break the Bank

Let’s face it—smartwatches are expensive. You’ve probably already shelled out a hefty amount for your phone, and now you’re expected to pay hundreds more for a smartwatch that still depends on that phone for many of its features. It’s a tough sell.

That’s why the CMF Watch Pro 2 caught my attention.

CMF is a budget-friendly brand from Nothing—the same folks heylink.me/sumairrandhawa531 the sleek and transparent Nothing Phone. And they’re here with a smartwatch that actually makes sense: affordable, functional, and well-designed.

 A Fresh Take on Designheylink.me/sumairrandhawa531

The Watch Pro 2 is technically a sequel, although the original never made it to North America. This time, CMF is going global with a cleaner, more refined look.

While the design remains fairly standard, it’s a welcome departure from the square Apple Watch-style body of its predecessor.

Inside the box, you’ll find:

The watch

A magnetic Pogo-pin heylink.me/sumairrandhawa531

I do wish the charger worked like the Pixel Watch’s cradle—letting you drop your watch in from any direction—but instead, you’ll have to align it just right. Slightly annoying, but nothing deal-breaking.

💡 Battery life? CMF claims up to 9 days under heavy use (whatever that means), so charging won’t be a daily task.

 Solid Build, Thoughtful heylink.me/sumairrandhawa531

Comes with a sporty silicone strap by default

Standard mount for easy strap swaps

Aluminum alloy body with a premium feel

Replaceable bezel—a rare but genius touch to keep it looking fresh

Design details like the red crown, dotted CMF branding, and sleek edges really elevate the experience. The only downside? The crown is a bit tight near the lugs, which could be tricky if you have larger fingers.

 Bright Screen, Mid-Tier Feel

1.32" AMOLED display

466 x 466 resolution

620 nits brightness (great even in direct sunlight)

Compared to my Pixel Watch, the Watch Pro 2 is slightly taller, but never feels bulky on the wrist.

That said, the haptics feel cheap, and the scroll wheel has a bit of a rattly sound—not exactly premium, but fair for its price.

🧠 Software & Smart Features

CMF uses a custom OS for the Watch Pro 2—not Wear OS, but it mimics it well:

Swipe down: Quick Settings

Swipe up: Notifications

Swipe left/right: Widgets

The default watch face shows steps, calories, and weather—but oddly, tapping them doesn’t open the related apps. You’ll have to navigate manually with the crown.

There’s no app store, so you can’t install third-party apps like Strava.

But the silver lining? Native integration with:

Strava

Apple Health

Google Health Connect

This makes syncing with apps like Fitbit and MyFitnessPal possible—super handy for health nerds.

Fitness & Health Tracking

Whether you’re a weekend warrior or just starting your fitness journey, CMF has you covered:

120+ workout modes (even niche ones like jet skiing)

Built-in GPS (no phone needed on runs—yay!)

IP68 water resistance (fine for rain and splashes, not swimming)

Heart rate & SpO2 monitoring

Arrhythmia notifications (not FDA-rated for AFib, though)

Final Thoughts: Is It Worth It?

At just $69, the CMF Watch Pro 2 offers tremendous value.

It may not have every bell and whistle of a $300+ smartwatch, but it nails the essentials:

Notifications

Fitness tracking

Heart rate monitoring

GPS

If you’re looking for a smartwatch that complements your phone—not replaces it—this is an absolute winner.
