Binance P2P New Chatroom Feature Guide

Binance P2P has launched a new Chatroom feature that consolidates all ongoing and historical communication with the same counterparty into a single chat thread.

How to Access the Chatroom?

  • New Orders: Tap the “Chat” button when a new order is placed.
  • Order History: Tap the counterparty’s nickname in a past order to open the chat.

Express Zone

  • Access the Chatroom via the [Chat] tab at the bottom of the advertisement page or the chat icon at the top-right of the order page.

P2P Zone

  • Chatroom access is available directly in the P2P interface.

Once inside, your Contact List is organized into:

  • All
  • Ongoing Orders
  • Unread

Counterparties from previous trades are added to this list automatically. You can also find them using the Search function.

How to Share Your Contact Information?

You can share your profile using a QR code:

  1. Tap [Profile] at the top-right corner.
  2. Tap the [Share] icon to generate a QR code.
  3. Share your QR code via image or link.

The recipient can:

  • Place an order.
  • Scan the QR code to view your profile.

Unified Chat View

In the Chatroom:

  • All messages with a specific counterparty are shown in one thread.
  • Order Details Banner: Ongoing orders will appear at the top. If the current chat isn't linked to an active order, this banner won’t show.

Search Function

Find messages from specific orders or sync old conversations into the new Chatroom:

Option 1: Magnifier Icon

  • Scroll up to reveal the magnifier.
  • Tap to select and view the desired order's first message.

Option 2: Menu [...] > Search

  • View all related orders.
  • Tap to jump to the first message in the thread.

Sharing Your Ads

Within the Chatroom, you can:

  • Tap [My Ads] > [Send Ad] to share an ad.
  • View the counterparty’s ads via [Their Ads].
  • Review your own ads under [My Ads].

Note: If there are no available ads, the tab will not appear.
